Leila joined Overture in 2025 to support founders driving the transition to a decarbonized world. Her career began at Stripe a decade ago, where she joined as employee #300 when its Dublin HQ had only a dozen people. At Stripe, Leila worked on the company’s European expansion and led its entry into Italy. More recently, she spent two years at EQT Ventures, focusing on early and growth-stage software investments across the US and Europe.

Leila is passionate about economic development and believes that transitioning to a decarbonized world is not only vital for addressing climate challenges but also essential for ensuring long-term human and economic well-being. She has worked across for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the United States, Morocco, India, Turkey, Ireland, Italy, and her home country of Madagascar. Along the way, she has learned six languages and is working on her seventh (insert Hindi word for “almost there”).

Leila holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Economics from Harvard, as well as an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

In her free time, you’ll find her exploring New York City with her DSLR, chasing the perfect shot of the Brooklyn Bridge, or making slow but steady progress in a yoga studio. She’s an avid fan of historical fiction, ski slopes, urban hikes, and is on a mission to discover the most authentic Napoletan pizza in the city.
